Finding time for yourself isn't always easy, especially when you're balancing work, family, and everything else life brings. Online therapy makes it easier to prioritize your mental health without adding another appointment to your commute or rearranging your entire day.
Through secure video sessions, we can connect from the comfort of your home or another private space that works for you. I offer online therapy throughout Texas, so whether you're in Katy, Houston, or somewhere else in the state, you can access support wherever you are.

Yes! I offer in-person therapy at my office in Katy, Texas, as well as online appointments throughout Texas.
You don't have to choose one or the other. Many clients prefer meeting in person but appreciate having the flexibility to switch to a virtual session when life gets busy, schedules change, or getting to the office isn't convenient. We can find an approach that works best for you.

The initial intake appointment is $280 for an 80-minute session, and ongoing individual therapy sessions are $175 for 50 minutes.
Our first appointment allows us extra time to discuss your history, understand what brings you to therapy, and explore your goals. This gives us a thoughtful starting point for our work together.
I also offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation so we can connect, answer any initial questions, and see if we're a good fit.

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, what's been going on in your life, and what you're hoping to get out of our time together.
You don't need to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say. We'll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you, and you'll have plenty of opportunities to ask questions along the way.
-
There's no one-size-fits-all answer. Some people come to therapy to work through a specific challenge, while others benefit from ongoing support as they navigate different seasons of life.
We'll regularly check in about your goals and progress so that our work together continues to meet your needs.

Brinkley Counseling is a private-pay practice, which means I do not accept insurance directly. However, if your insurance plan includes out-of-network mental health benefits, you may be eligible for reimbursement for a portion of your sessions.
I'm happy to provide a superbill, which is a detailed receipt that includes the information your insurance company needs to process a reimbursement claim.
If you're unsure about your benefits, I recommend calling the number on the back of your insurance card and asking:
Does my plan include out-of-network benefits for outpatient mental health services?
What percentage of the session fee will be reimbursed?
Do I have an out-of-network deductible I need to meet first?
How do I submit a superbill for reimbursement?
Reimbursement varies by insurance plan and isn't guaranteed, so I encourage you to confirm your benefits directly with your provider before getting started.
